A Fond Farewell to Debbie Smith

She’s retiring after more than two decades at Country Club Bank.

In June 1997, Country Club Bank welcomed a new teller, marking the beginning of a banking career that spanned more than two decades.

After a brief stint juggling roles as both a teller and a part-time JCPenney employee, Debbie left the bank to become a department manager at Penney's. When the winds of change blew and the retail giant signaled closure of some stores, Debbie returned to CCB, where she has been serving as a Relationship Banker at our Leavenworth location.

As she bids farewell to her banking career and colleagues, Debbie looks forward to her next adventure—spending more time at her antique booth at the Leavenworth Antique Mall and babysitting her 15th great-grandchild, who's arrival is expected in February.

Her parting advice to CCB Associates: "Count your blessings that you have the opportunity to work for this great company."
