Lee’s Summit Chamber Annual Holiday Reception | December 4 | Lone Summit Ranch

Every year, the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce hosts a Holiday Reception to bring the community and local nonprofit organizations together. Attendees donated nonperishable food items, which were distributed to Lee's Summit Social Services. More than $700 was collected for Pro Deo Youth Services.

Country Club Bank had the honor of being the title sponsor for this event.

VTO | Pete’s Garden | December 9

CCB volunteers gathered at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral to prepare and assemble fresh meals for local families in need.

Pete’s Garden collects unserved prepared foods from local caterers, restaurants and food service operators and then takes those meals to social service organizations for distribution to the families they serve.

VTO | Rose Brooks | December 12

Seth Edwards, Karen Byers Jones, Daniella McKim, and Terence Fitzpatrick volunteered at the Rose Brooks Store/Donation Center in mid-December. Rose Brooks, which is dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence, hosts a Holiday Store each year to provide gifts to the families it supports.
