Unveiling of Ramón Murguía Visitor Entrance Mural at Union Station|October 13
Country Club Bank is honored to sponsor the “Ramón Murguía Visitor Entrance” at Union Station in support of our valued board director. We commend Ramón’s commitment and dedication to our local community. Ramón is also the immediate past chair of Union Station's board of directors.
Union Station recently hosted a dedication ceremony unveiling the new visitor entrance. As part of the dedication, a 360-degree “Welcome All” mural by Kansas City artist Chico Sierra was also unveiled to honor our community's cultural diversity and inclusivity. Chico Sierra, a celebrated Chicano artist, designed and created the mural by incorporating both local Kansas City landmarks and familiar, diverse faces along with rich references from Ramón's parents’ home in Mexico.
Guests visiting Union Station will see the mural as they enter from the west into the B level (theatre district) directly across from the West Yards Parking Garage.
