Today we officially kicked off our annual United Way drive “Kansas City Takes Care of Its Own” with an inspiring video featuring CCB Chairman and CEO Paul Thompson and CCB Director (and former United Way president) Brent Stewart.
This year’s campaign runs through October 29. We have some lofty goals, and we know our generous Team CCB associates can achieve them!
90%+ participation
$100,000 in donations
We have made it easier than ever to participate, plus we’ve added a fun BINGO challenge:
You’ll be receiving weekly emails to keep you up to date about our progress and reminders about how you can get involved in the campaign. The email you received today contained a unique link for your personal e-pledge site. Please use that portal to make your donations!
You can purchase bingo cards through the e-portal for $5 per card until next Tuesday, October 12. Be sure to get all you want by that time, because the games begin on October 13!
Also, be sure to check out the October 13 “Banking on KC” podcast featuring United Way CEO & President Chris Rosson. Chris tells an inspirational story about how he and his family relied on United Way services growing up—and he’s now leading the organization.
We can do this! Let’s show how Kansas City takes care of our own!
