Cecelia Wisniewski, VP Commercial Lender

What do you do at Country Club Bank?
As a vice president and commercial lender at Country Club Bank, I am responsible for underwriting, structuring, and closing commercial loans and managing a portfolio. I contribute to community development by establishing new business and preserving existing customer relationships.
How did you get into banking?
Purely by accident. With no previous experience, I started in the wire and accounting department at a local bank. The controller there saw something that looked like potential in me and gave me an opportunity to learn.
What drew you to CCB?
A friend of a friend thought I would be a good fit here and reached out to me. After learning more about CCB, the Thompson family and meeting others on the CCB team, I felt we shared common values. From there, it seemed obvious that this was where I belonged.
How have you been able to advance your career at CCB?
Building relationships and connections with colleagues and mentors and seeking ways to gain the most knowledge from my experiences have been key to my success at CCB.
What advice would you give other CCB associates about advancing within the bank?
Build relationships, be authentic and a good listener, know that challenges inspire growth and be a team player.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
I love spending time being groovy with my daughter and enjoying our peace.
Do you belong to any community or professional organizations?
I am a longtime volunteer for Community Housing of Wyandotte County (CHWC) and a current member of the Bishop Ward High School Academy Finance Board. I get a kick out of helping others and supporting organizations that make a difference in the community.
I’m also a member of the Fairfax Industrial Association and Associated Builders & Contractors Heart of America. Both organizations provide an opportunity for professional resource development and help me stay informed about industry trends.
