Financial Center Manager, Woods Chapel

What do you do at Country Club Bank?
As the Financial Center Manager for the Woods Chapel location, I work with my amazing team to help everyone reach their goals and grow professionally. My role is to support our branch, ensure smooth operations and guarantee we consistently deliver excellent service to our clients.
How did you get into banking?
Like many other bankers, I like to joke that I’m an “accidental banker.” I never planned to work in banking, but I quickly realized how much I enjoy the work and the people. What started as a surprise career choice turned into something I’m passionate about. I’ve stayed because I love helping others and building relationships with my team.
What drew you to CCB?
When I was thinking about leaving my old job, I took a close look at reviews of the companies I was considering. CCB’s reviews really stood out to me, with employees consistently praising the supportive environment we have here. I also loved seeing how much CCB gives back to the communities that it serves, which made the choice very easy for me.
How have you been able to advance your career at CCB?
I’ve worked in every role within a branch, which has provided me with a solid foundation and opportunities to grow. Along the way, I’ve had great support from both my FCMs and RFCMs, who recognized my abilities and provided the coaching I needed to advance. Their guidance, combined with my hands-on experience, has helped me to move forward in my career.
What advice would you give other CCB associates about advancing within the bank?
Be honest and genuine in your intentions. Take the time to really get to know your clients, not just as customers but also as people. Build those connections and show that you care. Also, work hard, stay consistent and never be afraid to ask questions. It’s key to learning and growing in your role!
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family—my husband, our four-year-old and our cat. Every day is an adventure with a four-year-old, so I just try to go with his flow—whether its crafts, playing outside or reading. I enjoy just being present with them and making the most of whatever comes our way.
Do you belong to any community or professional organizations? If so, why are you interested in them?
I am a member of the Young Professionals Committee for the Lee’s Summit Chamber. The group focuses on developing young leaders and helping them sharpen their skills. We’re also committed to giving back to the Lee’s Summit community through volunteer projects, like working with Pro Deo, a youth center, and organizing events like the annual Lee’s Summit Trunk or Treat.
