April offers numerous opportunities to help our local community bloom!
Spring is the perfect time to be a part of renewing the community around us. In April, we are rolling out several VTO opportunities designed to foster a more vibrant community—and to deepen the bonds among our team members.
Remember, every act of service plants the seed for a stronger community. Let's use this spring as a season to promote positive change and growth!
We invite you to be a part of this journey! All you need to do to get started is to register for the event(s) of your choosing below.
Please be sure to receive approval from your manager and submit your VTO request through Ultipro if you plan to volunteer.
Rose Brooks Center | Thursday, April 11, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. | Near 71 Highway and 75th, Kansas City, MO
Rose Brooks Center is about saving lives by breaking the cycle of domestic violence so that individuals and families can live free of abuse. Each year, Rose Brooks Center counts on more than 1,000 volunteers.
We will be assisting with projects that could include painting, organizing and sorting donations, cleaning and assisting in the kitchen and pantry, and working in the outdoor space to weed and clean.
Due to the nature of the center and security of those they serve, we will provide more detailed information for those who sign up, including the address, as we get closer to the VTO date.
